This is an original Smokey Bear poster printed in 1964, and it is NOT a reproduction. Printed across the bottom of the poster: "U. S. Department of Agriculture--Forest Service; 1964 - U. S. Government Printing Office; Louisiana Forestry Commission; 65--CFFP--2a." This vintage poster is in very good condition. However, it was folded at one time in the middle and has a crease across the middle of the poster. The crease is not very noticeable and does not detract from the image. This poster comes from an estate. This would make a great addition for those collecting Smokey Bear memorabilia or those wanting an original piece of American history. The poster measures 13 X 19 inches. Not many of the original posters have survived because they were intended for short term use and then discarded.
The poster will be mailed rolled in a round mailing tube, and will mailed by USP first-class mail.
